I'm getting ready for finals (I'm in college full time even though I'm old) so I'm going to be busier than usual with that in the next two weeks. Then of course there is Christmas shopping/decorating on top of the usual family stuff. So thats my excuse for not hanging around here much....what's up with you all?

I'm old . Skipped a couple of years out of high school to 'experience' life. Started college when I was about 25 and went for about 3 years but I was working full time and a single mother of two 'little' kids so even though once or twice it was full time courses, most of the time it was half time or less...didn't finish because.... I moved with my ex to Korea for 3 years and took some CLEP (college level exam 'something') which are tests you take for college credit instead of taking the classes....they were through the University of Maryland. When I got back to the states I went back to school again in the early 90's for a bit but I had family obligations again that prevented me from completing anything....and again I had to make a major move. Anyway, since my grandson graduated last June I decided to go back to school with him and finally bring all my credits together and get my degree. By the way, classes are harder every time I go back and from what I saw when my grandson was in high school (he lives with me) I don't know that I could pass high school if I had to do it now......the requirements are more stringent every year. I REALLY feel for you 'kids'. My classes end Dec 15

For me today's the last day of Christmas break. I'm not sure I'm ready for school!
