This is the day we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the second Continental Congress in Philadelphia, PA, 1776. In an astonishing coincidence, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson who signed the Declaration and became President, died on the 50th anniversary of its signing, July 4, 1826

Most people celebrate with outdoor activities and fireworks at night. What are your plans?

I'm going to the fireworks with my mom, dad, sister, and grandparents after supper with all of them. My brother is away studying at the University of Tennessee for a few weeks, so he can't come .

Did everyone see fireworks? My city's (small city) were spectacular! Somehow they had star-shaped ones! And color-changing ones, flashing ones, and really really loud ones.
