I don't know how many of you have deluxe but what do you think of the new promotion(s)? The one where they are offering bonus points at the estore for extra family accounts with a year deluxe subscription.......and the one where you get the special golden dragon with a year deluxe subscription.

I have deluxe that started in July and others have mentioned 'stacking' where you can buy/renew the membership to start when your current one ends.........so I'm thinking that if I wait till the very end of the promotion at the end of the month of April I can 'stack' / renew for only 2 months till July and get the dragon. What do you think?

I want to get the new deal, but I already have deluxe and my brother has the bonus account. This means that I could get the extra 5000 pts to use at the estore. My account doesn't run out until August. I don't quite understand what you mean by stacking. If I want to take advantage of this promotion, Can I get it and just have it extend my current membership for another year? Or will it only extend it by a portion of the year?

First....understand that there are 2 different promotions going on here. The 5000 bonus point (that's only $5 if you were to pay for it yourself at anytime) is only available thru April 3. The one with the dragon doesn't start until April 4 and ends at the end of April (not necessarily the last day...I'd have to check). The way I understand stacking....you can renew your membership for either promotion but you don't get the 'gift' until the new year starts which is after your current year ends. Obviously you have to choose promotion you want.

Ooooooooh. Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying that. I was thinking it was a single promo. I understand now. I was thinking I could get the dragon and the 5000 extra points for my brothers's account. I just checked the webkinz newz site and I see now that there are 2 seperate promos. That is a little disappointing, but I am glad you clarifyed that for me. Thanks. I hope that there is a really good promo in August when my deluxe expires.

You can do stacking for the dragon. Just renew in late April and it will automatically go on in August when (I think) they give you the dragon.....they do it this way so people don't cancel after they get the gift I think. BTW, you can still add a bonus account for only $5 extra without getting the bonus points under the dragon promo.

Thanks again for the info. I was only considering extending my deluxe if I could get both the dragon and the 5000 extra points. I guess I will wait until closer to August to see if GANZ has any other promos.

I think the 5000 extra points is a one time per extra account..... I don't think you continue to get every month...I don't think people realize that. As I said, that only $5 if you actually pay for it so I don't see how its worth it if you only have 1 extra account besides the main one you are getting the deluxe on. I mean it goes like this....Pay for yearly deluxe $45....get second bonus account $5.....get 1st promo 5000 points worth $5 if purchased outright...................or pay for yearly deluxe $45 ..get golden dragon (limited to promo).
I have 4 bonus accounts and could add 2 more but I'm going for the dragon because I could easily (relatively speaking) just add the $20 for the current amount of the 4 account bonus point promo anytime but I can't get the dragon unless I do it their way.
