Here are some general maze tips. If you have any more let me know.

For timed mazes, always hold your "Shift" key while you run. This nearly doubles your speed. This is also useful for climbing particularly steep tubes.
For gem and flower mazes, you will only find objects in rooms, not tubes. Look for sparkles and stand on them to find an object.
If you see a door that is covered with swirly grey stuff, it doesn't lead to anything. No use trying to open it!
In a bowling room, there are three entrances: one behind the pins, one far in front of the pins, and one at the top of a slide near the entrance in front of the pins.
