I finished school two weeks ago, but I started two weeks earlier than most and had NO fall break. Is anyone else finished with school early? Is anyone still slaving away?

I finished school on May 13th. I basically stopped coming here for awhile before that because one class had a huge project that took an incredible amount of time and energy....ended up 23 pages. I start summer school on June 6.

I have no fall break and have no spring break. I started on August 30th. My school doesn't end until June 16th and we get back on August 29th...

Oh, like how you get a couple weeks off every two months? I wouldn't be able to stand that!

Well.....Sunday I was looking at my syllabus for my summer class (I decided to take it easy this summer and only take 1 instead of 3 classes) and I realized I just couldn't do it this summer after all. I'm burned out from taking extra classes since last summer so I need a break till fall and my family agreed....in fact they didn't want me to go to school this summer anyway. So I guess I get to play (yeah, right) until August.

Great, Mimi! I've missed seeing you online during my waking hours, which I assume is because of your college classes. Usually whenever you're on it's 2-4 AM here in TN.

Well I still don't know how much chance I'll have to get on during 'normal' hours because what happens is that 'family' wants me (including dogs) or chores or errands and then I can't get to the computer till evening my time (about 7 pacific) when its late your time. I start 'frantically' trying to catch up on my dailies for my accounts before midnight eastern. That's when I used to start my classwork and then come here when I finished it or was taking a break.

I've never had all year round school before, do you like it? I've heard that it can be relaxing because you have a break every once and a while, but some people also say it's a terrible idea. I personally would rather have a long summer break.

The only problem with summer break is that I get bored because I don't really have anything to do except do modding, admining on other sites, read, write, draw, and etc.

Its okay and besides during summer all i do is Math and Spanish,but a lot of it,lol(I'm homeschooled is why)

agree but your lucky my school is at home and well its boring,2,and a lot more work than u i bet

Huh. Well, I suppose it depends on your grade... the grade I just passed had lots of annoying tests, projects and etc.

yeah but I'm given collage work and a few days of it in one day

Well, I usually go to school year round with a just a couple of weeks break in between sessions/semesters....but this summer I took off because I was just burned out and because I know that the next go round I am facing a particularly (for me) difficult class. My classes start August 20th.
