I was just using Google Patent Search, and look what I found! A Webkinz Donation Station Patent! Is this coming to Webkinz World in the near future?

Fluffington's Donation Station? Sounds cool, doesn't it! It appears that you will get awards for donation! What could these be? I think I see a tagline int the pic below:



Master Care Award winner sounds like a tagline to me.



It also looks like we'll be able to win random other donations when we donate! Look:



"USER AWARDED RANDOM DONATION" sounds like we'll get other donations for donation! This sounds awesome!

It came out in February of this year, so it might be coming later. A system like this would take a while to make!

It also looks like only "needy" members can take donations. That means if you don't have much KC or items, I guess. Anyone can donate, though!

I think it's coming soon, because there is a new trophy in the database called the Master Caring Award, which sounds like something in this patent.

Google Patent Search ( http://www.google.com/patents ) is a function of Google (the web searcher) that allows you to search the archive of U.S. Patents. The search I did to find this was "Webkinz".

I guess I will have to be the skeptic of the group. I have seen this before a few months ago. I kinda doubt this will be coming to WW. However, I guess it will be cool if it does come to WW.

What you saw a few many months ago was this ....... HW posted this on WI and the info has gone out and about. The fact that they haven't done anything with it doesn't mean that they haven't still been tinkering with the idea. As a matter of fact I think I read something to that effect more recently.....like maybe just before that director thing.....something about a variation on the donations idea but I don't remember what it was now.......I don't always remember as precisely as I used to.

They recently released the Master Caring Award mention.

And what is that again.....I need mental refreshing.....please go over all that.

This would be really cool for Webkinz World, but it seems pretty confusing, don't you think? Like how do you know if you got a donation? Does it pop up into your mailbox or what?

That's what I was thinking, and what would the message say? Probably something like this:

Another Webkinz Member has donated this gift and it came to you! Congratulations!

Or something like that.

You forgot that it is from Your Furry Friends at Webkinz, as they call themselves.

Oh yeah, whoops XD I forget those things. Even though I just got a letter from them saying my pet Dragon, a sea horse, is one year older now.

Hey, I think this other virtual site, Pixie Hollow, stole this idea! On there you can donate clothes and items and recieve a badge! I never trusted them.

Interesting. Do they have any affiliation/connection to Ganz? If they do they can use the idea.....or if they changed it some from the original. IDK.

Has anyone actually contacted Ganz to see if the donation station is in the works? Also, does anyone know where it came from. I originally saw it under rumors on WI, but I don't know where it came from.
