I always have trouble with 'floater' contests. I'm just sitting there, searching for that little image to come across my screen but it does not. It really ruffles my feathers. On the last contest, someone said they clicked on it forty eight times. Wow. So, I need a few tips. Thank you very much.

It depends on if you mean Webkinz Newz contest or Webkinz World contests. Webkinz World contests run on a determined schedule, usually a chance for an object every 6 or 11 minutes. Webkinz Newz items used to float the moment you clicked the page, but now, apparently, this is not the case. Ganz stated on their Facebook page:

Pop-up blockers might stop you from opening the new window, but there shouldn't be anything that stops the image from floating by. It can take a while before the image appears on the screen, so if you're refreshing right away you might miss it.

Apparently, the new WKN has changed the old floating image method.

Ahh, I see. I've done the floater contests about three times before they changed the Webkinz Newz. I got a rug once, and a recipe food.
