OK so some of you know that I have a lot of pets and what you don't know is that I have a lot more that I haven't registered for one reason or another.(like I can't think of the right name) I get a lot of pets as gifts (and I tell people to buy them for me at Justice because I don't like paying full price). I just had a birthday in February and so I got a lot of January and February released pets. Here's my problem. Ganz keeps designating POTM for pets I already have registered so I'm almost 'afraid' to register any regular pet in case it might be a POTM later and I miss out. I DO NOT want to get a duplicate pet for POTM (though one month that happened because someone gave it to me). So thoughts anyone?

I kinda do the same thing. I have about 10 unregistered pet codes that I am saving in hopes that one will be the POTM soon. So far, only one of them has been a POTM. I have had to resort to trading to get all of the POTM items. I only need 3 more. 2 old POTM items and then the newest one just recently released.

Well, I'm not that interested yet in the PSI but for instance I was given the Chi Chi Chihuahua for my birthday and I registered it without a thought because I'm a girl and I'm into cuteness......anyway, then I started thinking that that is one for sure that they will make POTM later. The question is for any of these 'when'. I mean, I also have the Sugarplum Cheeky Monkey which is too cute to not be POTM at some future date...but how long do I want to hold on to it......I mean, I want to play with her. I like making rooms for each of these guys...though they may not do much more than that after the room is designed. So the crucial question is how long do we hold out?

It took the Grey Owl 2 years! I know we all want POTM items, though. It makes it a tough choice. If only Ganz would just let anyone who has the pet get an item!

I've never had a POTM, so I really don't know how to answer this, sorry! But good luck in finding a POTM!

Owlstar, Webkinz chooses a random pet type each month to be POTM. If you adopt that type of pet, you get a very nice item. If you have the pet type but didn't adopt it that month, you don't get the item.

I know they pick a random pet, for example, for May, it's A Great Gray Owl (I want that one!) But I don't get why you still don't get the item even if you do have the pet before that DX So now, if I get the owl before May, I have to wait until May to adopt it? That's kind of annoying...

What happens if one of your unadopted pets NEVER become POTM?

I have no idea. If it has already been POTM, I'd adopt it. If it hasn't, I'd wait.

Well, since it took 2 years for the grey owl to make POTM I guess I will register my newer pets now. I am not going to hold on to them for that long...or even a year.
