My computer's hard drive bit the dust last night
I'm not sure how long it will take to fix it...if it is fixable

How terrible! Maybe get a new one? Cheaper than a whole new computer, at least.

yeah, I think I am just going to get a new hard drive. The computer is still good otherwise. It is a bit old. I have had it 8 years. It was the family computer, but I took it when the family got a pc. I have to decide soon if I should get a new pc or just fix the hard drive. With the age of the pc, I might be better off just getting a new pc.

That old ....yes, you need new.....computer. I had a laptop that crashed and it was from 2005....I wanted to replace the hard drive but the tech said that all the stuff that needs upgrade with that it would be better to get new. This goes for a PC also. Everything BESIDES the hard drive has been upgraded in the meantime.

My brother looked at it. He did a virus scan and some other stuff that I don't know how to do. The computer is very slow, but at least it doesn't cut off randomly now. I think it could still be a problem with the hard drive, but hopefully I will not have to buy a new computer.

Doing a defrag will also help a computer run better but your brother probably also did that though you can ask him.

Hey. My computer is better for now. It is still acting very slow. Much slower than normal, but it is working. Whatever my brother did has helped it. It hasn't randomly shut down on me yet.
I am doing well. I am excited about all the new things going on in WW recently. There are lots of new hamster things going on!

Yeah, you're back. We were afraid we had lost you because of the computer.

I helped with a virus scan, disk clean up, defrag, and some other things. There was no virus found. It didn't really need the defrag, but I did it anyway. I did delete a lot of unused programs. I'm not sure why the computer randomly shut down. Hopefully it will not happen again.

Dog, I'm to tired to do it right now..see the time...but I'll send you a PM later today on how to do a special auto fix that most people don't know is in their system.
