Am I supposed to log out from each forum or just the web site? Won't it log me out if I just click the x the close the page? I told you I don't understand this stuff. Also, what is that little spot above to mark for 'topic icon' which aways has 'none' marked? I kinda want to know what happens if you mark 'solved'

You log off when you disconnect, yes. The log out button is for if you want to stay connected but not be logged in. The topic icons mean what it will show as in the topic list. Solved is only for use in the "I Need Help" forum, but there is not an option to make it one forum only. Just pick none unless you have a question that was answered.
